Rich: [00:00:00] Freeman from Channel Mastered on the show floor here at the Robin Robbins, TMT Bootcamp here in Dallas, Texas with Doug Serbo. Yeah. Reinvent Telecom. Doug, for folks in our audience new to Reinvent Telecom, tell ’em what it’s all about. I.
Doug: Thanks Rich. So Reinvent Telecom is what we call a white label, unified Communications as a service.
Essentially, it’s a telephone system in the cloud, and the nice thing about our partners is they’re able to enjoy really great margins because they make it their own, they own the customer, they’re able to brand it. Their own kind of a logo and they’re able to offer all sorts of services, everything from a telephone system to call recording, call reporting, contact center, all the functionality of a modern phone system with great functionality and great profitability for them.
What about support? So it’s white label to the customer, are you supporting? Excellent question. That’s really one of the differentiators for us too, is [00:01:00] that all of our support is US based. So we’re all here, and then we’re out of Scottsdale, Arizona, but we have people all over the United States. We have three different data centers.
Our technical support we’re the. The tier two support after our partners take care of those kind of issues. But we have very responsive people and then the culture of a company is what’s really important. I think too, what really attracted me to come to reinvent here is that you’ve got folks that are very competent, very responsive, and just that makes it so much nicer for our partners to be able to get help quickly, whatever
Rich: it is that they need.
So you identified support as a differentiator. There are obviously other unified communications platforms out there that appeal to MSPs. What are maybe some other differentiators you would like to highlight?
Doug: Yeah, another good question, Rich. Thanks. So in addition to the offerings that we have, in terms of the product, the support we also have is for onboarding.
For example, there are some manufacturers that they’ll actually [00:02:00] charge for that onboarding, where that is not a cost for us. We really wanna. Invest and give to our partners all the tools that they need to be successful. And so whether it’s marketing materials, we have a great resource portal that has lots of tools to help our partners be successful and not have to reinvent the wheel in terms of campaigns or collateral as logo driven by them.
So that’s another aspect of the, the support besides all the technical and that kind of help too.
Rich: So you said before your offering is a profitable one for the MSPs. Is that in relation to other unified communications offerings, or is Unified Communications a profitable service that MSPs who are not offering it now should be offering
Doug: another great question.
So in addition to our PBX offering our I-P-P-B-X and being able to make a. 40, 50, 60% margins on that. Since it’s white label, it’s a wholesale purchase our partners are [00:03:00] doing. We also offer direct routing, so for our partners who work with customers, with teams, people don’t wanna buy the calling plan from Microsoft.
Very expensive and totally unnecessary, and this provides another opportunity to help our partners make a lot of money and save their end users a lot of money. Where should
